Bianca is an associate at Hutchins Legal and practices Aboriginal and Treaty rights litigation at both the federal and provincial levels.  She also advises First Nations, governmental and non-governmental organizations, on legal matters, including proceedings at the international level before the United Nations Treaty Bodies, the UN Permanent Forum on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the Inter-American human rights system.


Prior to joining the firm, Bianca worked as a legal advisor to the United Nations Legal Counsel in New York; as a legal officer with the United Nations Peacekeeping Mission in Haiti; and as a trial attorney with the Special Court for Sierra Leone, an international war crimes tribunal.


Bianca has also acquired expertise in socially responsible business practices and the international legal standards developed on business and human rights through her training and keen interest in this area.


Bianca practices in English and French.
