Administrative law

Administrative law governs the actions and operations of governments, their departments, agencies and administrative tribunals. Consultations between our clients and the Crown are often followed by administrative or regulatory decisions.

We have counseled and represented a diverse array of Indigenous clients  including First Nations and Indigenous organizations before administrative tribunals. We have also been involved in litigation concerning appearances before administrative tribunals such as the federal National Energy Board in its environmental assessment function, and appeals on environmental grounds from the decisions of administrative tribunals such as an agricultural land board.
